About Dan Personally:

  • Grew up in rural Michigan breeding dogs and raising rabbits to show in 4-H.
  • Finds pleasure and happiness in some of the simplist things.
  • Loves the color red.
  • Still wants to breed and raise dogs.
  • Delights in watching all sorts of baby animals.
  • Traveled internationally with a music group for 5 years before moving to Seattle in 2001.

About Dan Professionally:

  • Received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Anderson University & a Master's degree in Counseling from Mars Hill Graduate School.
  • Has been listening to and joining people in difficult, painful places for years.
  • Is a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington.
  • Enjoys the variety of groups and individual therapy.
  • Worked with children affected by domestic violence in central Indiana.
  • Served mentally disabled people at a home in Calcutta, India that was started by Mother Teresa.
